Slootweg Machinery developed an online EN-volume dosing system for the potting soil industry. By using continuous moisture measurement in the hopper which is placed on load cells a continuous control of the soil production takes place. All the base products will be measured and adaptations can be made depending on the measured moisture values; extra water or extra peat can be added to reach the goal of the EN-m3 with the correct dry substance and moisture content.
