History Slootweg Machinefabriek
Slootweg Machinery is a real family company. The firm was established in the thirties by Jacob Slootweg, grandfather of the actual general manager. The activity was trading agricultural tools with the local agricultural companies. When the agriculture was modernized the construction of conveyors and mixing and Bagging potting soil and peat was started. In 1967 the machinery was set up at the actual location where in the meantime the necessary expansions took place because of the growing demand for machines.
Nic Slootweg
Meanwhile the company was taken over by Jacob’s son Nic Slootweg. Under his management the machinery developed to its actual dimensions; it obtained international reputation and may be called market leader in the world.
Albert Slootweg
For some time now Albert (son of Nic) holds sway. For a long time he has experience within the company. Under his vision Slootweg will be able to spot and follow quick changes in the market.
